General Terms & conditions

- price of goods 

• Clearly stated within the quote.
• Inclusive of vat but excludes delivery.
• We reserve the right to change prices without prior notice due to material cost fluctuations.

• Quotations have a 30-day limited validity period. 

- payment terms 

• Upfront deposits of 50% for material ordering, remainder to be paid on completion. 
• Terms above apply to cash sales. 

- payment methods

• The payment methods accepted are: BACS, PayPal and cash.

- delivery 

• delivery times are often estimates, and Whitefalle Wood may not be held liable for delays due to unforeseen circumstances. 

- collection

• Collection if required can be arranged. 

- shipping costs 

• We cannot estimate shipping costs until the orders are completed. 

- inspection 

• buyers are required to inspect goods and notify Whitefalle Wood of any issues within 3-days of defects, damage or discrepancies in quantity / description. 

- returns

• Email quality@whitefalle-wood.co.uk for more information.
• There is limited time frame for returning orders due to it being a natural product, the time frame is four weeks. 

- refunds 

• Conditions for refunds are determined on inspection of returned orders.
• Timeframe is limited to four weeks.
• Specific reasons, subject to inspection of returned items. 

- return postage 

• The buyer is responsible for return postage costs. 

- restocking fees 

• We reserves the right to charge restocking fees. 

- wood movement 

• We inform customers that wood is a natural material that moves (expands and contracts) with changes in moisture and temperature. 

- finishes 

• If factory treated orders require further treatment (e.g. staining, painting) these should be clearly stated, and failure to do so may void any guarantee. 

-dimensions 

• Measurements provided by Whitefalle Wood are often approximate, and customers should be aware of potential variations.

- custom designs 

• If there are custom designs, the process for design approval and potential variations to the initial quote should be addressed. 

- drawings 

• If drawings are provided, an additional fee may apply.
• If drawings are provided by Whitefalle Wood they may be subject to copyright.

- customer responsibility

• Customers are responsible for ensuring the suitability of their property for fixing items and for the safety of the items. (e.g. not climbing on furniture). 

- guarantees 

• Guarantees may be contingent on the customer following our care instructions.

• We are not responsible for pricing errors.
• Errors will be rectified as soon as possible. 

- liability & disclaimers 

• Liability is strictly limited to the invoice price of the goods in question.
• Any legal matters arising shall be heard in the English courts.

- force majeure 

• Whitefalle Wood may not be liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our control i.e. acts of God, war, strikes.
